This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: <…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondent No.3 in disturbing the personal liberty of the petitioner by calling of the petitioner to the police station without there being any crime registered against the petitioner and without following due as arbitrary, illegal and violation of Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 not to call to the petitioner to police station without there being any crime registered against the petitioner and without following due process of law..=
2. Heard Sri Mandem Kranthi Gireesh, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents.. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that police are calling the petitioner to the police station and harassing him without there being any crime registered against the petitioner. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents, on written instructions, would submit that basing on the complaint of three unemployed students, a complaint was lodged against the petitioner and therefore, the police called the petitioner to the police station for the purpose of enquiry and the enquiry is still pending. 5. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of.
