The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners 1, 2, 8, 10, 11 & 14, alleging violation of the order dated 26.04.2012 passed in CMP No. 1490/2012 accompanying SWP No. 974/2012, where under, the respondents came to be directed to keep 22 vacancies of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in IA and AD, offices free from regularization and also not to disengage the petitioners till next date. 2. Response has been filed to the contempt petition by the respondents, wherein it is being, inter alia, stated that the order dated 26.04.2012 has not been disobeyed or violated by the respondents/contemnors and in fact, the same stands implemented and carried out in its letter and spirit and that no order has been passed in violation of the order passed by this Court. 3. Record of the proceedings of the contempt petition would reveal that none has appeared for the petitioners on the previous date and none appears today as well. 4. Under these circumstances, coupled with the fact that the respondents/contemnors have specifically pleaded that the order, non- Sr.No. 23 2 CPSW No. 284/2012 compliance of which is complained of has not been violated, the contempt proceedings are closed after recalling the contempt notice. The petitioners, however, shall have the liberty to seek revival of the contempt petition within four weeks’ time from today in case cause survives.
