Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that without there being any crime registered against the petitioner, the Police are calling the petitioner to the Police Station. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the petitioner is well acquainted with the facts of the case relating to Crime No.248 of 2025 and that he is required to appear before the Investigating Officer along with the relevant documents and information for the purpose of investigation. However, the petitioner did not appear and failed to produce any such documents or information. 5. Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to follow due process of law to secure the presence of 4 the petitioner before investigation officer for the purpose of investigation. No costs.
