1. The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS with a prayer to direct respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct the investigation in case arising out of FIR No. 15, dated 10.02.2024 under Sections 306, 34, 506 of IPC, registered at Police Station Division-C, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, in a time bound manner.
2. On advance notice, Mr.M.S.Bajwa, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appears on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh, submits that the investigation is being conducted in a fair and impartial manner. He further submits that the investigation shall be concluded within a period of three months from today.
3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition, at this stage.
4. Dismissed as not pressed, at this stage.
