The amount of G.P.F. after death of petitioner’s father in the year 2008 was admittedly paid to petitioner’s mother on 19.08.2017 and she has never approached this Court before she died in the year 2023 claiming interest on delayed payment of G.P.F. amount. Now petitioner has approached this Court that he is entitled for payment of interest on delayed payment of G.P.F. amount. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner refers copy of purported representations that petitioner as well as his mother were approaching since 2013, however, no receipts thereof are annexed alongwith this writ petition. 4. Since now petitioner’s mother has expired, therefore, petitioner cannot claim interest, if any, on delayed payment if not paid either to his father or his mother during their respective life time. Otherwise also, at this belated stage, no interest on delayed payment of G.P.F. could be paid. 5. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
