Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents to decide the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2025 in accordance with law within specific period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents to pay gratuity of the petitioner calculating the ad-hoc service period as qualifying service, otherwise the petitioner would suffer irreparable loss and injury." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that representation for payment of gratuity by calculating the ad-hoc service of the petitioner as qualifying service is pending consideration before the respondent no.5. The direction may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that representation of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2025 pending before respondent No.5- Principal Veerangna Jhalkari Bai, Government Women's Polytechnic Jhansi, be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6.
