This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in interfering with petitioner's possession and enjoyment of land to an extent of Ac 1.10 cents in Sy No. 20/7 (old Sy No. 58), Y.B. Agraharam Village, Nathavaram Mandal, Anakapalli District without considering petitioner's possession and pendency of civil disputes between petitioner and 5th respondent is illegal, arbitrary and

violative of Article 14, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and opposed to the principles of natural justice”
2. Heard Ms.T.V.Sridevi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that based on the complaint made by respondent No.5, police registered a case in Crime No.154 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 323 and 506 read with 34 IPC against the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that the police are not interfering in a civil dispute between the parties. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime which is registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
