HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU WP(C) No. 2325/2024 CM no. 226/2025 CM No. 7253/2024 CM No. 5679/2024 Devender Singh …..Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s) Through: None. q vs UOI & Ors. .…. Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Vishal Sharma, DSGI. Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE MA CHOWDHARY, JUDGE ORDER 21.05.2025 There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. Vishal Sharma, learned DSGI submits that this petition has become infructuous in light of the fact that the petitioner has challenged the show-cause notice issued to him, as to why his services should not be terminated, having regard to the fact that the termination order in question has been challenged in subsequent WP(C) No. 221/2025 titled “Devender Singh vs. Union of India & Ors.” by the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, and the apparent lack of interest shown by the petitioner in pursuing this petition, as evidenced by his absence of representation, the petition seems to have become infructuous. Accordingly, the present petition, along with all connected application(s), is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. (MA Chowdhary) Judge Jammu 21.05.2025 Abinash 28
