Subba Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments and Sri T. The instant Writ Petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in issuing the appropriate proceedings confirming the sale of the 3 subject property purchased by the petitioner in the public auction conducted on 21.09.1994. 3. It is contended that the petitioner had participated in the public auction conducted by the respondent No.5-Temple in 1994 for the sale of the agricultural land of Ac. 2.47 cents. The petitioner was the successful bidder for a total consideration of Rs. 50,000/-. In pursuance thereto, the petitioner has deposited Rs.25,000/- on 21.09.1994, and the respondent No.5 has received the same. Thereafter, respondent No.3 submitted a report to respondent No. 2, recommending confirmation of the sale in favour of the petitioner, as no other bids were received in the subject public auction. In pursuance thereof, the petitioner was also put in possession of the subject property. However, no final proceedings have been issued by either respondent No. 3 or respondent No. 2 confirming the same in favour of the petitioner. Thus, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent Nos. 2/3, dated 15.07.2024, upon which, the respondent No.3 has called for a report from the respondent No.2 – The District Endowments Officer. In pursuance thereof, the respondent Nos. 4/5 has submitted its report to the respondent No.3 on 17.05.2025. Thereafter, no final proceedings have been issued by Respondent No.2. Thus, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the instant Writ Petition. 4. Having regard to the contentions advanced, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner, 4 after taking into consideration the reports that have been submitted, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending miscellaneous applications shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA Date: 17.09.2025 MSI 5 THE HONOURABLE SMT JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA WRIT PETITION NO: 23925/2025 Date: 17.09.2025 MSI
