ORDER:
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 8Cr.P.C)/under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 8BNSS9) has been filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking quashment of proceedings pending against him in S.T.C.No.790 of 2025 on the file of Principal Junior Civil Judge-cum- Principal Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Junior Division), Tirupati, for the offences punishable under Sections 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
2. Heard Ms.A.Sai Keerthi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a false case has been registered against the petitioner. It is a fit case for quashment.
4. As can be seen from the contents of the petition, the contentions raised by the petitioner in the present petition are a matter of defence and disputed questions of facts, which this Court cannot decide under the inherent jurisdiction.
5. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that let there be a direction to the learned Trial Judge for expeditious disposal of the matter.

6. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders.
7. Considering the submissions made, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-cum-Principal Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Junior Division), Tirupati, is requested to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, without granting any adjournments in a casual way by mere asking.
