ORDER:
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C)/under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) has been filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2, seeking a direction to the learned I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam to commence the trial in C.C.No.1976 of 2018 forthwith and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
2. Heard Sri Yaswanth Gade, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the present petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Trial Judge to dispose of the matter in C.C.No.1976 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders.
5. Considering the submissions, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the learned Trial Judge is directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible according to law without granting any adjournment in a casual way by mere asking.
