The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: “It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash FIR No.79/2019 registered under Section 498 (A)/34 of IPC in Police Station-Police Station Chhaal, Dist.Raigarh, Chhattisgarh and further be pleased to quash the subsequent proceedings initiated pursuant there to including the criminal case no.195/2019, pending before the court of JMFC Dharamjaigarh, Distt-Raigarh (C.G.), in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been acquitted from the charges, as such, this petition has become infructuous. 4.
