PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition under Sections 480 and 483 of BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein/A19 seeking regular bail in Crime No.73 of 2023 of Kancharapalem Police Station. The above said crime was registered against the petitioner/A19 and others for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’). The case of the prosecution is as follows: On 14.3.2023, the S.l of Kancharapalem Police Station, on credible information about illegal possession and transportation of ganja, secured the presence of mediators and staff and rushed to ITI Junction, Kancharapalem to the place in the between Skoda and Hamsa Showroom and started conducting vehicle checking and noticed one car 2. 3. 2 coming towards them. The case of the present petitioner herein i.e. A19 is also on the same footing as that of A16. 6. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor not disputed the correctness of the said submission of learned counsel for the petitioner. has also 7. In view of the aforesaid facts and ci A16 who is on the circumstances of the case, since same footing as of petitioner herein/A19 was released on bail, this Court is inclined to grant bail to petitioner herein/A19.
