Following order was passed in the matter on 07.09.2026:-
“Learned counsel for the respondent-Bank has placed on record documents and on that basis submits that admissible family pension has been sanctioned to the petitioner w.e.f. 23.07.2023 i.e. the date of death of her husband.
Learned counsel for the petitioner makes out a grievance that pension arrears are also due to be paid to the petitioner, as pension, had not been paid from due date to her husband.
Learned counsel for the respondents seeks two days’ time to come up with instructions on the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner.

Pursuant to above, learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record office instructions dated 09.09.2026 and on that basis submits that pension arrears has been credited to the bank account of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above positon, but submits that the petitioner has some surviving grievances with respect to quantum of arrears calculated by the respondents.

If that be so, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
With the above observations, this writ petition to stand disposed of.
