The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bhawanathpur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2023, S.T. Case No.129 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Shri Manoj Kumar Tripathi, learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nagar Untari. Petitioner is alleged to have given several lathi blows to his wife, due to which, she succumbed to her injuries. It was submitted that out of five chargesheet witnesses, only two witnesses have been examined. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is in progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
