2 Challenging the action of the respondents in not taking action to give protection to petitioners’ lives and properties, the instant writ petition is filed.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the to respondents are not taking any action in providing protection to the petitioners and their subject properties. The petitioners contended that the unofficial respondent has been harassing them therefore the petitioners have approached the 3'^^ respondent by way of an application under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of the Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Pursuant to the said application, the 5‘^ respondent vide notice dated 27.07.2023, directed the petitioners and the unofficial respondent to appear before him. However final orders on the application filed by the petitioners have been passed, thereafter. Apart from the application that was filed before the R.D.p., the petitioners have also approached the Police seeking protection. , no
4. The unofficial 12‘^ respondent filed counter affidavit stating that the petitioners have filed Civil Suits in O.S.Nos.67 and 71 of 2023, the are pending for adjudication, pending disposal of the same, parallelly they have filed present application before R.D.O. same

6. The writ petition is disposed of directing the 5“^ respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application filed by the petitioners in a time bound manner not later than eight (8) weeks, from the date of receipt of the
