ORDER:
1. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.3 and A.4 in Crime No.77 of 2025 of the Palakollu Town Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 3 and 4 of the A.P. Gaming Act, 1974.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been implicated as accused in Crime No.55 of 2025, registered at Yelamanchili Police Station, for the alleged offence under Section 132 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita [for short ‘B.N.S.], in Crime No.56 of 2025 for an offence under Sections 223, 126(2) read \ with 3(5) of the B.N.S., and in Crime No.58 of 2025 under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 351(2) read with 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3(1)(r)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
4. It is submitted that all these complaints were registered against the petitioners within a short span of one month and are politically motivated. X
5. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners have filed Criminal Petition No.4217 of 2025 and Criminal Petition No. 4258 of
/• 3 CRLP. No.4575 of 2025 police to complete the investigation in accordance with the procedure contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
6. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Palakollu Town Poiice Station, West Godavari District, is directed to compiete the investigation in Crime No.77 of 2025 by following the procedure contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita insofar as the petitioners
2025. seeking to quash the FIRs. This Court has directed the A as are concerned. This would not preclude the investigation officer from filing charge sheet or final report after completion of investigation.
7. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of.
8. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
