1. Petitioner has approached this Court for a direction upon the Respondent-Authorities to allow the petitioner for filling up the application form pursuant to the Advt. No. 03 of 2024 and 04 of 2024 for appointment of Jharkhand Assistant Conservator of Forest and Jharkhand Range Forest Officer 2024.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not allowed to fill up the said form as he was having degree of Information Technology (IT) which the respondents were not accepting as a proper degree to fill the form of the said post, as the same is not considered to be a proper educational qualification. It has been further submitted that similarly situated candidates who have approached this Court vide

Annexure – 5 of the writ petition being W.P. (S). No. 4563 of 2024
order passed on 29th August 2024, were allowed to fill up the same form likewise the petitioner in this writ petition wants similar treatment.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the JPSC submits that the last date of filling up of the said form was 10th August 2024 and the period has already lapsed. Giving liberty to the petitioner will amount to depriving several other similarly situated persons who had not approached this Court or had not filled up the said post within the due date.
4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, I find that the petitioner is heavily relying upon the order dated
29.08.2024. The case which the petitioner is relying upon, was filed before the last date of the filling up of the form.
5. Admittedly the last date of the filling up of the form was 10th August 2024. Today, we are in the year 2025 and this writ application has been filed on 24th January 2025.
6. Now giving any liberty to the petitioner will amount to taking away similar privilege from other similar candidates. This will amount to give undue advantage to the petitioner, thus, no relief can be granted to this petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
