Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:60636 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5083 of 2025 Petitioner :- Vinod Kumar Rajbhar Respondent :- U.P. Sub-Ordinate Services Selection Commission Lucknow And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajesh Maurya,Vinod Kumar Counsel for Respondent :- Siddharth Singhal Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Maurya, learned Advocate holding brief of Mr. Siddharth Singhal, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. Petitioner in this petition is aggrieved for non-consideration of his candidature in category of Other Backward Caste (for short O.B.C.) claiming that he was also entitled to the benefit available to handicapped person for horizontal reservation. However, from the prayer clause of the petition, it transpires that the petitioner has prayed for quashing the select list of economically weaker section. 3. The Court fails to understand as to how the petitioner is aggrieved by the select list of economically weaker section when the petitioner did not belong to that category. Moreover, Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Maurya, submits that only 26 posts were advertised in O.B.C. category and against all 26 posts candidates have been selected. 4. In view of the above, I do not find any force; both on count of maintainability of present petition, looking to the relief clause of the petition as well as for the instructions placed before the Court that all 26 posts in O.B.C. category have stood filled up. 5. The petition fails and is accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 22.4.2025 Shiraz Digitally signed by :- SHIRAZ ALI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
