2. The petitioner has filed this petition praying for following prayer:-
1. Conduct a thorough investigation into the inhuman treatment meted out to the Petitioners.
2. Take disciplinary action against the erring police officials.
3. Direct Respondent No. 1 to pay compensation to the Petitioners for violation of fundamental rights and mental agony caused.
4. Pass any other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of the court to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.

Learned counsel for the state has no objection.
5. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
