Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Respondent, though served with notice, has remained absent. 3. Taking into consideration the reasons assigned by the petitioner in the grounds of the petition that the distance between Tumakuru and Ballari is more than 250 km, I find force in the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Hence, I pass the following: ORDER i) The petition is allowed. ii) That M.C.No.340/2024 pending consideration before the Family Court, Tumakuru is hereby withdrawn and transferred to the competent Family Court at Ballari forthwith. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6141 CP No. 100045 of 2025 iii) In view of disposal of the petition, pending interlocutory applications, if any, do not survive for consideration and are disposed of accordingly.
