THE CRIMINAL REVISION PETITION BEING REFERRED TO LOK ADALAT, COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION, THIS DAY, THE LOK ADALAT PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
CONCILIATION ORDER
1. The revision petitioner and the respondent along with their advocates are present.
2. After prolonged negotiation, the matter is settled and the advocates appearing for both the sides have filed a joint memo stating that the matter is settled for Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees six Lakh only) in full and final settlement. Out of that, a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- has already been deposited before the Court, which has to be released in favour of the respondent and the remaining amount of Rs.4,00,000/- is to be paid in two installments, for which two cheques

worth Rs.2,00,000/- each are handed over to the revision petitioner; the first cheque is to be honoured on 10.04.2025 and another cheque is to be honoured on 15.05.2025.
3. If the accused complies with the terms of the joint memo and makes payment without default, the
judgment and sentence passed by the trial Court and confirmed by the First Appellate Court stands set aside and the accused is acquitted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I. Act.
4. In the event accused defaults in making payment, as per the joint memo, the complainant is at liberty to recover the same as per the joint memo. The joint memo shall form part of the award.
5. In terms of the joint memo, the revision petition stands disposed off.

6. The amount, if any, deposited by the petitioner shall be released in favour of the respondent on due identification.
7. Registry to draw award accordingly.
