The Registrar (Judicial) has received a letter dated 27.03.2026 from the Court of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate, Deegod, Kota seeking extension of time fixed by this Court vide order dated 23.07.2025 while deciding the S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 4994/1998. 2. This Court while deciding the aforesaid writ petition, in para 13 of the order dated 23.07.2025 directed the Civil Court to decide the issue concering adoption and while passing the aforesaid order, the Civil Court was directed to record a finding within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the aforesaid order. 3. As per the contents of the letter, after receipt of the aforesaid order, the Presiding Officer has received the file on 08.01.2026 and the case was posted for recording the evidence of the parties. The parties submitted applications under Order 7 Rule 14 CPC and under Order 8 Rule 1A CPC and arguments were (2 of 2) [CW-4994/1998] heard on the said applications and the same were decided on 18.03.2026. Thereafter, the case was posted for recording the evidence and in the meantime, the period of two months’ fixed by this Court for deciding the issue of adoption has expired. Hence, under these circumstances, a request has been made for granting further two months’ time to decide the issue of adoption. 4. Considering the above narrated facts and circumstances, two months further time is granted to the learned Civil Judge, Deegod, Kota to decide the issue of adoption. 5. With the aforesaid observations, Office is directed to consign the letter to record and send a copy of this order to the concerned Court for compliance of the same. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Ashu/98
