ORDER:- The petitioners clainn that they are in possession of
1. land to an extent of Ac.3.17 cents in Sy.Nos.181/2 and 209/1 of Paravathapuram Revenue Village, Chatrai Mandal, Krishna District. It is their further case that, their ancestors were assigned the said lands during the year 1979. Subsequent to the demise of the original assignees, the petitioners came into possession as legal heirs. th It is further case of the petitioners that the 5
2. respondent by virtue of proceedings in Rc.B.98/2018, dated 25.09.2021 passed resumption order against the subject lands. It is further case of the petitioners that they filed revision petition before the respondent in the month of February, 2024. Despite filing of the said revision, the 3 respondent did not take up the i rd same for hearing. Questioning the said action of the 3 respondent, in non taking up the revision for hearing, the present writ petition is filed.
3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the writ petition be disposed of directing the 3'^'^ respondent to pass appropriate orders on the revision filed by the petitioners.
Taking into consideration of the submissions made by both the learned counsel, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the revision petition filed by the petitioners, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is needless to mention that the 3'^^ respondent is directed to afford opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and thereafter appropriate orders.
