Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Anil Kale, counsel for respondent-State by Lokayukta Police Inspector. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6203 CRL.P No. 101499 of 2025 2. Accused has been successfully trapped in respect of Crime No.2/2025 by the Karnataka Lokayukta Police, which has been registered for the offence under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Accused is in custody on and from 28.02.2025. 3. Perused the material on record. Investigation has sufficiently progressed. Taking note of the fact that tainted currency is already seized so also the investigation agency has recovered the necessary documents from the office of the accused and taking note of the fact that accused is now suspended from the service, continuation of the accused in judicial custody is no longer warranted. 4. Other apprehensions of the prosecution can be met with by imposing suitable and stringent conditions. 5. Accordingly, the following order: ORDER (i) Petition is allowed. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6203 CRL.P No. 101499 of 2025 (ii) Petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on executing bond in a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum. (iii) Petitioner shall not tamper the prosecution witnesses in any manner. (iv) Petitioner shall attend the Court regularly. (v) Petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of Dharward District, without prior permission. (vi) Petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation agency and in that regard he shall mark his attendance before the Investigation Officer on every third Sunday between 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. till the final report is filed.
