The petitioner by means of the present petition has prayed for the following reliefs: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 08.04.2013 serve to the petitioner on 18.04.2013 passed by Registrar Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur; (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to forward his thesis for examination prepared for the purposes of obtaining P.hd. degree and to award degree accordingly." 2. By the impugned order dated 08.04.2013, the Research Degree Committee has made certain suggestions in the 'Thesis' of the petitioner and has directed the petitioner to modify his 'Thesis' and submit a legible copy of the same. 3. It is informed by counsel for the respondent that, till date, the petitioner has not complied with the requirement of order dated 08.04.2013. 4. The counsel for the petitioner also does not dispute the aforesaid fact. 5. The Research Degree Committee has made certain suggestions in the 'Thesis' of the petitioner and has directed the petitioner to submit a legible copy of the same, which the petitioner is bound to do so. 6. In such view of the fact, this Court does not find any illegality in the order impugned. 7. The writ petition lacks merits and is, accordingly, dismissed.
