The substratum of the lis is that the petitioner seeking a direction from this Court to consider his case for the promotion to the post of Mechanical Chargeman in the first respondent Devasthanam. i 2 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for first respondent Devasthanam brought to the notice of this Court regarding the counter averments in para - 9. 4. For the sake of comprehensive view, para - 9 of the counter affidavit filed by the first respondent is extracted hereunder: 7 respectfully submit that subsequently upon the retirement of Mr.Venkatesh Achary, the petitioner herein was temporarily promoted to the post of Mechanical Chargeman (Artisan) vide Roc.No.TL4/833/2021 dated 07.05.2021 and accordingly the petitioner reported for duty on the F.N. of 07.05.2021. Subsequently, the petitioner retired from his service in TTD on 31.05.2021 on attaining the age of 60years.” 5. Thus, it is evident from the record that the petitioner already promoted to the post of Mechanical Chargeman (Artisan) vide orders in ROC No.TL4/833/2021 dated 07.05.2021. Consequently, the petitioner also reported to the duty and also served as a Mechanical Chargeman (Artisan). At last, the petitioner superannuated on 31.05.2021 on attaining the age of 60 years. was 6. Thus, the cause exposed in the writ petition, which was already fulfilled in view of afflux of time. By taking into consideration all the above averments made in the counter, the counsel for the IP 3 petitioner Sri B.Varun Reddy also reported that by recording the same writ petition may be closed as no further orders are required in the instant lis. Thus, the writ petition is closed in view of the fact that the 7. petitioner was promoted and retired from service on 31.05.2021 itself as requested by the writ petitioner.
