This criminal revision is filed by the revisionist for quashing/setting-aside the judgment dated 11.02.2025 passed by the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Udham Singh Nagar as well as the judgment and order dated 22.01.2020 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar in Criminal Case No. 1022 of 2012 ‘State vs. Kanhai Singh @ Kanhaiya Singh’ on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. By the impugned judgment and order dated 1 2025:UHC:4463 11.02.2025, the appellate court has dismissed the appeal of the revisionist/convict filed against the judgment and order dated 22.01.2020, whereby the revisionist has been convicted for the offences punishable under Section 323 & 324 of IPC. 2. In this revision a Compounding Application (IA No. 01 of 2025) was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court vide order dated 08.05.2025 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Udham Singh Nagar in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Udham Singh Nagar has submitted the report dated 15.05.2025 which clearly indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application (IA No.01 of 2025) is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the judgment dated 11.02.2025 passed by the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, 2 2025:UHC:4463 Udham Singh Nagar as well as the judgment and order dated 22.01.2020 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar in Criminal Case No. 1022 of 2012 ‘State vs. Kanhai Singh @ Kanhaiya Singh’, are hereby quashed qua the petitioner. 5.
