Before the trial Court, the respondent/wife filed an application in I.A.No.2 of 2024, claiming interim maintenance to the minor child and the trial Court has directed the revision petitioner/husband to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only)per month to the minor child and also directed the revision petitioner to clear the arrears within three months and directed the revision petitioner/husband to pay the monthly maintenance amount to the petitioner on or before 10th of every English Calendar month without fail. Aggrieved by the order, the husband has preferred the above revision. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner/husband submits that the respondent/wife is a Dentist and is earning considerable income but the said fact was suppressed by the respondent/wife, 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent/wife submits that the revision petitioner/husband has not complied with the order passed by the trial Court on 08.04.2025. 5. A perusal of the records would show that the respondent/wife has filed petition, seeking divorce and the minor child is under her care and custody. The 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 2987 of 2025 revision petitioner/husband is working as System Manager in a Private Company and the respondent/wife is a Dentist and running a private Clinic. 6. Considering the fact that the respondent/wife is also working, this Court is inclined to modify the order passed by the trial Court by directing the revision petitioner/husband to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) as monthly maintenance to the minor child from the date of filing of application in I.A.No.2 of 2024 till the disposal of OP No.3648 of 2023. 7. It is stated that as on date part of the arrears was deposited before the trial Court and now the revision petitioner/husband is directed to pay the balance arrears to the respondent/wife within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the revision petitioner/husband is directed to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- towards monthly maintenance to the minor child till the disposal of OP No.3648 of 2023 without fail. 8. The respondent/wife is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by the revision petitioner/husband before the trial Court within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 10. The trial court is directed to dispose of O.P.No.3648 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 11. With the above direction, the civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
