The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.122 dated 28.12.2016 registered under Sections 323, 324, 452, 148, 149 & 354 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 13.03.2025, arrived at between the parties. 2. On the last date of hearing i.e. 21.04.2025, the following order was passed :- “On receipt of advance copy of the petition, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, A.A.G., Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1-State and on instructions from ASI Baldev Raj, submits that there is an active concealment on the part of the petitioners as in the petition it has been stated that none of the petitioners has been declared as proclaimed offender, whereas petitioner No.2-Gurpreet VINOD KOTHIYAL 2025.07.14 18:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document CRM-M-20269-2025 -2- Singh @ Kala was declared proclaimed offender vide order dated 28.08.2018.
