The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) with the following prayer :- “It is therefore respectfully prayed that the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and Quash the charge-sheet dated 17/10/2020 and order dated 26/12/2020 by which cognizance has been taken by JMFC, Patan (presently transferred to JMFC Durg and registered as RCC No. 27102/2024) and subsequent criminal proceedings for being illegal and frivolous and secure the ends of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the parties amicably settling their dispute outside the Court, as such, he wants to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file afresh at an appropriate stage. 4.
