The present petition has been filed with the following prayer:- “it is therefore, prayed that the instant petition may kindly be allowed and the Chargesheet of Crime No.120/2022 registered at women police station Raipur and further proceedings of criminal case No.17533/2022 pending before JMFC Raipur against the petitioners, may kindly be quashed, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the parties have jointly stated that dispute between the parties is matrimonial one and both of them have entered into compromise and compromise application dated 22- 07-2024 has been moved before the Family Court, Raipur and copy of the same has been filed along with affidavit of petitioner No.1 in the present petition. The said application has been moved by the parties before the Family court that the matter has been settled between them and according to compromise, Rs.5,00,000/- will be given to the complainant, out of which Rs.2,50,000/- has been received by the complainant, whereas remaining balance will be paid after quashing of the present matter which has been lodged under Section 498-A of the IPC. 3. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed and the parties are directed to appear before the learned trial Court who shall 3 consider the compromise entered between the parties and pass appropriate orders accordingly.
