ORDER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“...to declare action of the respondents in not issuing appointment order in favour of the applicant herein as Hindi Pandit though she got more marks than some of the appointed candidates and were placed above her in the merit list of DSC.2002, Hindi Pandits Grade.II as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, contrary to Rule and in violation of Article. 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the applicant and issued appointment orders as Hindi Pandit Grade.II in the existing vacancies or if necessary by creating supernumarary post, following the orders passed by the Tribunal in O.A.No.982 and 983 of 2009 dated 24.8.2010 and batch cases and interim orders in O.A.No.1831 of 2017 dated 7.7.2017 as the applicant herein got more marks than some of the appointed candidates as per merit list of DSC 2002...” Ms. G.Manasa, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought in the writ petition has become infructuous.

03. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Interim orders granted earlier, if any, shall stand vacated. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
