It is argued by learned counsel for th petitioner that the petitioner who is a complainant filed a complaint, supported by notary affidavit, on 18.02.2025 against the respondent No.5/Indra Bahadur Yadav, Gram Pradhan of Village Mahmadpur, Post Mainpur Tehsil Mariyahun District Jaunpur under the provisions of U.P. Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhan and Up Pradhan and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 before the respondent No.2. District Magistrate, Jaunpur. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 2. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Jaunpur to decide the aforesaid complaint most expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order strictly in accordance with law but after providing opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment.
