Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:66323 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5078 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Shakuntala Respondent :- Regional Manager, Uco Bank And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Kanjaanan Pyare Singh,Rakesh Kumar Mishra Counsel for Respondent :- Ajay Shankar Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioner claims that she is the wife of the deceased- employee. The pension and other retiral dues to which the deceased-husband is entitled which are liable to be disbursed to the petitioner, have not been released to her till date. She has made a representation before the competent authority but to no avail. The only prayer made by Shri Kanjaanan Pyare Singh, learned counsel and Shri Rakesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Ajay Shankar, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that her claim regarding pension and other retiral dues to which the deceased- husband is entitled, is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In light of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No.2- Branch Manager, UCO Bank Branch Visharat Nagar, Bilaspur, District-Rampur, shall decide the representation of the petitioner regarding her claim for pension and other retiral dues to which the deceased-husband is entitled, after confirming the credentials of the petitioner and upon noticing all legal heirs of the deceased-employee, as per law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
