Mr. Bhavisya Sharma, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client's father died accidental death by drowning the water body. Claim for compensation made under the scheme of "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojana" was rejected by order dated 9th August, 2024, of the Additional District Magistrate, Etawah. 2. Drawing attention to the scheme he points out, drowning in rivers and sea is covered. There is police report dated 3rd July, 2022 saying, death is due to asphyxia as a result of drowning. He seeks interference. 3. Mr. Raj Mohan Upadhyay, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, there should not be interference. 4. Perused the police report. It does not mention suicide. The incident must be presumed to be accidental death by drowning. In the circumstances, we in exercise of extraordinary writ jurisdiction direct respondent no.2 to disburse ex-gratia compensation at the rate provided by the scheme, to petitioner within six weeks of communication of certified copy of this order. 5.
