The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Thakurgaon P.S. Case No. 52/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 117(2), 109, 3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of Shri Kusheshwar Sinku, learned J.M, 1st Class, Ranchi. 3. It is alleged that on 03.10.2024, the petitioner and the co-accused persons assaulted the informant near the house of Sahanand Gope. It is alleged that he was assaulted by lathi and knife blows were also inflicted upon him. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that co-accused Sohrab Ansari has been granted Anticipatory Bail by a Co- ordinate Bench of this Court. It was further submitted that the informant has sustained simple injury. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 14.01.2025. 5. Mr. Rahul Sinha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the informant had sustained fracture on his left shoulder which suggests that the injury caused to the informant was grievous in nature. 6.
