The purpose of filing petition will be served if the respondents and, particularly, Respondent No. 2, is directed to consider the apprehension put forth by the petitioners, which relates to the amount of deduction against the amount of commutation of pension paid to the petitioners upon their retirement. 3. According to the petitioners, the amount of pension so paid in advance, if adjusted, in terms of the installment fixed by the respondents, the entire amount will be paid prior to 15 years. 4. The respondents, however, have indicated to the petitioners that the deduction/adjustment will be made for 15 years, irrespective of the satisfying/repaying the amount paid towards commuted pension. 5. Respondent No. 2 shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners on this point and shall take an appropriate decision. 6. The petitioners, through authorized representative, shall appear before Respondent No. 2 on 23.09.2026 at 11:00 am and put forth their grievance. 7. The petition is disposed of in terms of above.
