1. Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to transfer the investigation of the case FIR No.78 dated 26.03.2025 under Section 21(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act added lateron) registered at Police Station Anti Narcotics Force (ANTF), District ANTF Wing, to some senior police officer of the rank of IPS.
2. Inter alia, it has been contented by learned counsel for the petitioner that grandson of the petitioner has been falsely and frivolously implicated in the said FIR. He submits that grandson of the petitioner is a young boy who is studying in 11th standard. He submits that the alleged recovery has been effected from the co-accused and not from the grandson of the petitioner. He submits that the Investigating Agency is not looking into the grievances raised by grandson of the petitioner whose career is at stake. He, thus, submits that the investigating of the case be transferred to some other independent agency.

CRM-M-20216-2025 -2- investigation in the present case is already under progress. He submits that samples taken have already been sent to FSL and the report is awaited. He submits that on receiving the report from FSL, the investigation would be completed after taking into consideration the grievances raised by the grandson of the petitioner.
5. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation after taking into consideration the contentions raised by the counsel for the petitioner expeditiously, in accordance with law.
