Shahjahan Special Government Pleader ORDER This petition is filed seeking to implead the petitioners as further respondents in W.P. No.8916 of 2025. 2. In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it had been stated that the petitioners herein had been directly recruited as Sub Inspectors of Police and further promoted as Inspectors of Police and thereafter eligible to be promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-I). It had been stated that subsequent to the promotion to Deputy Superintendent of Police, a separate proceedings had been issued and it is contended that the petitioners are also eligible to be promoted as Additional Superintendent of Police. It is contended that they are directly interested in the result of the Writ Petition and before any order is passed and it is essential that they are also heard as their service would be directly affected.
