This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“i). Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to release the revised pension w.e.f 01.01.2016., as approved vide order dated 25.02.2022., to the petitioner alongwith 18 % interest from due date till the date of realization ;and/ or ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to release the dearness allowances @ 156% payable to the Petitioner alongwith 9 % interest till the date of

2 realization. ;and/or iii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the * Respondents to release the Interim relief @ 21% payable to the Petitioner alongwith 9% interest till the date of realization. ;and/or iv) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent- department to continue to release the pension/family pension/pensionary benefits of the Petitioner without any interruption in future; and/ or”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that relief has been claimed on the strength of Tulsi Ram vs. Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Limited2. It is an admitted position of the parties that aforesaid judgment is now pending consideration in review petition.

Taking note of the grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents to decide the case of the petitioner for the redressal of the grievances raised herein within six weeks of the adjudication of the review petition. Liberty, however, is reserved to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his surviving grievances, in accordance with law, at an appropriate stage in case necessity so arise in future.
