The petitioners pray for a direction upon the officials of the Enforcement Directorate to release the fixed deposit receipt seized by the authority. A criminal case is pending before the competent Court of law in respect of the said receipt. 2. Learned counsel for the Enforcement Directorate has brought to the notice of the Court an order dated June 17, 2025 passed by the learned Judge, Spl. (CBI) Court No.1, Calcutta in ML Case No.03 of 2018 wherefrom it appears that bail which was granted in favour of the first petitioner has been cancelled and that a non-baliable warrant of arrest to commit him to the custody to ensure the progress of the trial has been issued. The matter has been made returnable on July 18, 2025. 3. In the aforesaid facts, the Court is not inclined to pass any order directing release of the fixed deposit receipt. It will be open for the petitioners to take necessary steps for any relief before the learned trial Court. 4. Report by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Special Task Force, Kolkata Police signed on November 13, 2024 filed in Court be taken on record. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of. 6. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7.
