This Court, vide order dated 24.07.2024 passed in MCRC No. 5234 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Deepak Ware, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 24.07.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge, (NDPS Act), Raigarh District-Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.09.2025 has requested for grant of three months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the case is presently at the stage of prosecution evidence. Out of 11 prosecution witnesses, the examination of only 08 witnesses have been completed so far and 00 witness has been given up. Despite several summons/warrants being issued, the witnesses have not appeared, due to which the case could not be disposed of within the stipulated time. A memorandum is being issued to ensure that the summons/warrants to the witnesses in this case are executed with special priority through the Station House Officer and there is every possibility that the case will be disposed of within 03 months. Therefore, as additional time of 03 months is required for the disposal of the case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three month from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
