CRIME NO.01/2024 REGISTERED BY THE SIRIGERI P.S. POLICE STATION ON 02.01.2024 FOR THE OFFENCE PUNISHABLE UNDER SECTIONS 120-B, 408, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, R/W. ORAL ORDER

Heard Sri.Hareesh S. Nayak, learned counsel for the revision petitioners and Smt.Girija Hiremath, learned High Court Government Pleader for the State/respondent. 2. Petitioners have been summoned by Sirigeri Police Station, Ballari District by issuing notice under Section 35 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (41A of Cr.P.C.). 3. The amount of Rs.2,40,84,272/- which has flown to the account of the petitioner is now seized by the investigation agency. Petitioners are bound to explain as to how they received the said amount as a part of

investigation. Admittedly, petitioners are not available to the investigation agency even after their anticipatory bail request is rejected by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ballari in Crl.Misc.No.54/2025. 4.
Taking note of these aspects of the matter, if the petitioners are directed to join the investigation in respect of Crime No.1/2024 and to undergo limited period of custodial integration and thereafter, if they are enlarged on bail, ends of justice would be met. 5. Accordingly, without expressing further opinion on the merits of the matter, following:
ORDER i. Bail Petition is allowed. ii. Petitioners are
directed to join the investigation by appearing before the Investigation Officer on 23.04.2025 positively at 10.00 a.m.

iii. Investigation Officer is at liberty to take the petitioners to custody and complete the custodial interrogation on the very same day before 6.00 p.m. iv. Thereafter, petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on executing a bond in a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- [Rupees One Lakhs Only] with two local sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the Investigation Officer. v. Petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation agency in all respects including furnishing of the thumb impression, passwords etc., for effective investigation. vi. Petitioners shall mark his attendance before the Investigation Officer on every third Sunday between 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. till the final report is filed.

vii. Petitioners shall not directly or indirectly tamper the prosecution witnesses in any manner. viii. Petitioners shall attend the Court regularly. ix. Petitioners shall not indulge in similar offences. Violation of any one of the above conditions, would entitle the prosecution to seek for cancellation of bail. Ordered accordingly.
