1. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-
“10.1) The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to command the respondents to produce the entire records for perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.2) The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the present writ petition and direct the respondents to release the calculated gratuity amount of Rs. 1,89,623/- with prevailing bank rate interest. 10.3) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be passed in favour of the Petitioner together with cost of the petition.”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was retired on 31.05.2023 and till date, he has not received the gratuity amount which has been sanctioned vide order dated 31.10.2023 and the State has also accepted that the petitioner is entitled to get the amount of gratuity. 3. Learned State counsel fairly submits that the amount of gratuity will be given to the petitioner within a short span of time. 4. I have heard learned counsel for parties and perused the documents available in record. 5. Be that as it may, without commenting anything on the merits and also considering the aforesaid facts of the matter, the respondents are directed to disburse the amount of gratuity to the petitioner within a period of 45 days from today. It is expected
3 from the respondents that they will comply the order within the said period. 6. Accordingly, this petition stands disposed off with aforesaid observation and direction.
