Learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record a copy of office letter dated 25.08.2026, which inter alia reads as under: -
“…….In case of the petitioner Sh. Tara Chand two installments of Rs. 238044/- each has been already released, The third instalment is proposed to be released in Jan 2027, the fourth installment in September 2027, and the fifth and final installment in December 2027, subject to the continued receipt of adequate financial assistance from the State Government for payment of monthly salaries and pensions…..”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the assurance extended by the respondents, the present application be closed at this stage, however, liberty be reserved to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his surviving grievances, if any, in accordance with law, in case necessity so arises in future.

Taking note of the assurance extended for the respondents, as extracted above, the present application to stand disposed of with liberty to the petitioner as prayed for.
