Mr. Shobh Nath Pandey, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, demarcation was made as would appear from order dated 19th October, 2024 of respondent no.3 (the Sub-Divisional Magistrate). Thana is in illegal occupation of his client's land as demarcated. His client made representation dated 25th March, 2025, to respondent no.2 (the District Magistrate) for direction upon the thana to remove itself. On no action taken, his client is before the Court. 2. Mr. Ambrish Shukla, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, the representation will be duly dealt with. Mr. Himanshu Shukla, learned advocate, holding the brief appears on behalf of respondent no.7. 3. The police are entrusted with duty to maintain the law and order. Allegation is of the thana unauthorisedly occupying demarcated land of petitioner. Respondent no.2 is directed to look into petitioner's representation dated 25th March, 2025 and upon verification, ensure petitioner gets relief from the administration. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with copy of the representation to said respondent. Steps be taken within four weeks of communication or otherwise, reason for no action be informed to petitioner, within that time. 4. The writ petition is disposed of.
