Both the learned counsels submit that this matter is squarely covered by 2. the order of this Court in W.P.No.8502 of 2008. datedi 2.08.2024. 2 The issue involved in both the cases is that payment of interest to the applicants therein/1®‘ respondent herein on the delayed payment of lumpsum ex-gratia compensation amount. The Central Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.325 of 2016, dated 11.12.2007 passed the order as under: 3. 4. 5. That being the position, we are of the view that the applicant is entitled for interest on delayed payment of the ex-gratia compensation amount as per the entitlement. Since the General Manager had already sanctioned the amount, we direct the respondents to see that the amount is to be paid within one month from today. Respondents are directed to pay the interest on the amount of Rs.3.56,670/- at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of her entitlement till the date of actual payment. Respondents shall pay the entire amount i.e. difference of ex-gratia compensation of Rs. 3,56,670 with interest @ 10% per annum within the above stipulated period. 6. OA is allowed to the extent indicated above. There shall be order as to costs". Questing the same, the writ petition No.8502 of 2008 was filed by the petitioners therein, which was dismissed on 12.08.2024 by this Court. Similarly, in this case also, the learned Central Administrative Tribunal allowed the O.A.No.1501 of 2014, dated 30.12.2015 directing the respondents therein to pay interest to the applicant therein on the delayed payment of lumpsum ex-gratia compensation amount from the date of his entitlement till the date of actual payment at the prevailing rate of interest on GPF with costs. no 5. 6. no Against which, this writ petition was filed by the petitioners herein stated supra as the issue involved is one and the same and as the Coordinate Bench of this Court already dismissed the above said writ petition, this writ petition is also liable to be dismissed. 7. as 3 / Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to 8. costs. In the result, the order of the Tribunal shall be implemented within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order. 9.
