Mr. Arijit Pradhan ……for the petitioners By presenting this writ petition, petitioners have claimed interest on arrear family pension which has already been paid to them in 2012 as submitted by learned advocate representing the petitioners. No case is made out in the writ petition from where it can be ascertained that delay is attributable to State respondents for which State respondents should be fastened with responsibility to pay interest on arrear family pension. Moreover, after receiving arrear family pension by the petitioners being legal heirs in 2012 writ petition was filed on 12th October, 2023 that is more than ten years after receiving arrear family pension. In view of aforesaid situation, no relief can be granted to the petitioners. Writ petition stands dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
