ORDER: Heard the
learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Medical Health FW for the respondents.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was retired from services in February-2021. At the time of the retirement, all the Retiral benefits were paid to the petitioner, however. Leave Encashment amount
2 was withheld. Seeking release of the said amount, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.
3. The contention of the petitioner is that seeking release of the amounts under Leave Encashment, the petitioner has earlier made a representation to the respondent and the same has not been considered by the respondents. It is further stated by the petitioner that the petitioner was infact informed that the Leave Encashment amount of Rs. 16,39,759/- was sanctioned, however, the same is pending with the Finance Department.
4. Having regard to the contentions advanced, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1"' and 2"^ respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on the application of the petitioner filed for payment of Leave Encashment salary within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of the order
